Porting involves machining small openings into the barrel and/or slide so that propellant gases are redirected upward as the bullet exits. This counteracts muzzle rise and reduces felt recoil, allowing faster, more accurate follow-up shots. We offer porting as a standalone service starting at $185. Orders can be placed directly on our website — turnaround is approximately 14 business days from the date we receive your slide.

Yes. We offer standard optic cut services for a wide range of pistol slides. If you don't see your specific optic or slide listed on our order page, email us to confirm compatibility before ordering. Optic cuts are $210 and include a single-color Cerakote finish on the slide. Turnaround is approximately 14 business days from receipt.

Yes. We are a licensed Type 07/02 FFL — a federally licensed firearm manufacturer with a Special Occupational Taxpayer designation. This allows us to legally perform a full range of gunsmithing and custom work including builds, modifications, engraving, stippling, porting, optic cuts, and finish work.

Optic cuts and porting can be ordered directly through our website. For everything else — custom builds, engraving, stippling, gold plating, and other finish work — use the contact form or email us for a quote tailored to your specific project.

Optic cuts and porting are completed within approximately 14 business days from the date we receive your item (not from the date you ship). Turnaround for full custom builds, engraving, stippling, and other services varies depending on the scope of the project — we'll give you an estimated timeline when you get your quote.

For services requiring a complete firearm — such as full custom builds or stippling — you must ship through a licensed FFL dealer in your state. Your FFL transfers the firearm to us, we complete the work, and ship it back directly to that FFL for you to pick up. For slide-only services like optic cuts and porting, no FFL transfer is needed — we provide a prepaid shipping label.

Optic cuts start at $210 and include a single-color Cerakote finish. Standard porting starts at $185 and may increase with Cerakote color options. Full custom builds range from $1,700–$4,500 depending on options selected. All other services are quoted per project — contact us to discuss your build.
